Daybreak
-
The first light finds the cup before it finds the window.
A classic espresso latte shaped around Daybreak's true warmth: maple, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
Yields: 1 latte | Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
2 shots freshly pulled espresso
6 oz whole milk, steamed
0.75 oz Herbal Alchemy Daybreak Syrup
Tiny pinch fine sea salt
Cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions:
Pull espresso into a 12 oz cup.
Stir in Daybreak Syrup and the tiny pinch of salt while hot.
Steam milk to 150 to 155°F with glossy microfoam.
Pour milk into the espresso.
Finish with cinnamon.
Alchemist's Note: Salt makes the maple and vanilla feel rounder, not salty.
-
Brightness, chilled, and poured over ice like sunlight through glass.
Cold brew gives Daybreak a dark, steady base for its maple-brown-sugar body, cinnamon warmth, vanilla softness, and salted finish.
Yields: 1 coffee | Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
5 oz cold brew concentrate
1 oz Herbal Alchemy Daybreak Syrup
1 oz whole milk or oat milk
Tiny pinch fine sea salt
Ice
Cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a glass with ice.
Add cold brew, Daybreak Syrup, and salt.
Stir until fully combined.
Top with milk.
Garnish with cinnamon.
Alchemist's Note: Oat milk is especially good here because it echoes the brown-sugar warmth.
Alchemist’s Mead
-
Liquid gold, stirred into liquid warmth.
Alchemist's Mead is honey first, then green with rosemary and thyme. Espresso keeps the cup grounded while steamed milk turns the syrup's wildflower-herbal warmth soft and lingering.
Yields: 1 latte | Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
2 shots freshly pulled espresso
6 oz whole milk, steamed
0.75 oz Herbal Alchemy Alchemist's Mead Syrup
1 small rosemary sprig
Tiny pinch dried thyme or fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Pull espresso into a 12 oz mug.
Stir in Alchemist's Mead Syrup while hot.
Briefly warm the rosemary sprig in the steamed milk for 30 seconds, then remove.
Pour the milk over the espresso.
Finish with a tiny pinch of thyme.
Alchemist's Note: Keep the herb garnish restrained. The syrup already carries the meadow.
-
Espresso falls over gelato like dusk falls over gold.
Vanilla gelato becomes a creamy stage for wildflower honey, rosemary, thyme, and hot espresso. This keeps Alchemist's Mead floral-herbal rather than spiced.
Yields: 1 affogato | Time: 6 minutes
Ingredients:
1 shot freshly pulled espresso
2 scoops vanilla gelato
0.5 oz Herbal Alchemy Alchemist's Mead Syrup
1 tiny rosemary sprig
Pinch flaky sea salt, optional
Instructions:
Place gelato in a chilled glass.
Stir Alchemist's Mead Syrup into the hot espresso.
Pour over the gelato at the table.
Garnish with a tiny rosemary sprig and optional flaky salt.
Serve immediately.
Alchemist's Note: Rosemary should perfume the bowl, not chew like a salad.
Twilight Ember
-
Chocolate, cherry, and the last warmth of a dying fire.
Twilight Ember belongs to cherry, lime, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, and cayenne. Dark chocolate gives those notes a shadowed base while lime keeps the mocha lifted.
Yields: 1 mocha | Time: 9 minutes
Ingredients:
2 shots freshly pulled espresso
1 oz dark chocolate sauce
6 oz whole milk, steamed
0.75 oz Herbal Alchemy Twilight Ember Syrup
1 small strip lime zest
Tiny pinch freshly cracked black pepper
Cocoa powder, for garnish
Instructions:
Pull espresso into a mug and stir in chocolate sauce.
Stir in Twilight Ember Syrup while hot.
Express lime zest over the mug, then discard or leave as garnish.
Pour in steamed milk.
Finish with black pepper and cocoa.
Alchemist's Note: The lime zest matters. It keeps cherry, cayenne, and chocolate from becoming too heavy.
-
Embers over ice, dark fruit under a pale crown.
Bold cold brew meets Twilight Ember's cherry-lime heat, black pepper spark, cardamom, cinnamon, and cayenne warmth, then gets crowned with spiced cold foam.
Yields: 1 coffee | Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
5 oz cold brew concentrate
1 oz Herbal Alchemy Twilight Ember Syrup
Ice
For the cold foam: 3 oz heavy cream or oat barista blend, tiny pinch ground cardamom, tiny pinch cinnamon, tiny pinch cayenne
Freshly cracked black pepper and lime zest, for garnish
Instructions:
Pour cold brew and .5oz Twilight Ember Syrup together in the bottom of a 10-12oz glass.
Stir until fully incorporated
Fill glass 3/4 full with ice.
Froth cream with .5 oz Twilight Ember Syrup, cardamom, cinnamon, and cayenne until softly thickened.
Spoon foam over the ice.
Finish with ground black pepper and lime zest.
Alchemist's Note: Cayenne should arrive as warmth after the sip, not as a challenge.
Noël
-
Spice and cool mint, bottled from a holiday that has not happened yet.
Noël is not gingerbread here. It is cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, allspice, and peppermint, folded into espresso and milk for a winter cup with warmth at the center and a cool finish.
Yields: 1 latte | Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
2 shots freshly pulled espresso
6 oz whole milk, steamed
0.75 oz Herbal Alchemy Noël Syrup
Whipped cream, optional
Pinch ground cinnamon
Crushed peppermint or a small peppermint stick, for garnish
Instructions:
Pull espresso into a mug.
Stir in Noël Syrup while hot.
Steam milk to 150 to 155°F.
Pour over the espresso.
Top with whipped cream if desired, cinnamon, and peppermint.
Alchemist's Note: Peppermint makes the finish feel bright, so the baking spices can stay deep without becoming heavy.
-
Winter, poured cold, with warmth hiding underneath.
Cold brew carries Noël's cinnamon, cardamom, clove, allspice, and peppermint in a clean, bracing format.
Yields: 1 coffee | Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
5 oz cold brew concentrate
0.75 oz Herbal Alchemy Noël Syrup
1 oz milk or cream
Ice
Pinch ground cardamom
Peppermint stick, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a glass with ice.
Add cold brew and Noël Syrup.
Stir until combined.
Add milk or cream.
Garnish with cardamom and a peppermint stick.
Alchemist's Note: A little cardamom on the surface makes the first sip aromatic before the peppermint cools the finish.
