What is Slow Pour Sundays
Slow Pour Sundays is Herbal Alchemy’s anchor ritual. It is a weekly practice of slowing down, tasting with intention, and letting flavor carry memory back to the surface.
You do not need special tools. You only need a cup, a syrup you love, and a few minutes of honest attention.
How to participate
- Choose your drink for the day: coffee, tea, cocktail, mocktail, or warm milk.
- Add your chosen Herbal Alchemy syrup and pour slowly, watching it fall and swirl.
- Breathe, sip, and notice what rises in your body and memory.

The anchor ritual
Each Sunday, we repeat the same simple pattern so your body learns the feeling of arrival.
You prepare your space, pour your syrup slowly, and give yourself one full sip in silence. Over time, this small moment becomes an anchor. Your nervous system remembers the pace of Sunday, even in the middle of a busy week.

How to practice Slow Pour Sundays
Step 1 - Prepare
Choose your drink and clear a small patch of counter or table. Put your phone face down. Turn the volume down in the room or let the quiet stay as it is.
Step 2 - Pour and stir
Add your syrup. Watch it fall in slow ribbons. As you stir, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Count three slow circles of the spoon.
Step 3 - Sip and notice
Take your first sip without distraction. Notice the temperature, the texture, the way the flavor unfolds. Ask yourself gently: what does this taste remind me of.
Step 4 - Remember and release
If a memory surfaces, let it finish its sentence. Offer a quiet thank you for whoever or whatever comes to mind. When you finish the cup, let the rest of the day unfold at a softer pace.
